Plasma cutting is a process that uses an accelerated jet of hot plasma to cut conductive materials. Typical materials cut with a plasma torch include steel, stainless steel, aluminium, brass and copper, although other conductive metals can also be cut. Plasma cutting is commonly used in manufacturing shops, automotive repair and restoration, industrial construction, and recycling and scrapping operations.
